Structural detailing and build-ready connection engineering for the MPS Production Stage structure located in Qatar.
The Challenge
Industrial production stages are subjected to substantial dead loads, heavy equipment vibrations, and severe operational wear. The challenge was to deliver complex, high-precision steel structural joints that ensure safety under variable load distributions while facilitating fast, logical fabrication and site assembly.
Our Technical Execution
Our engineering team deployed Tekla to build an exact, high-fidelity 3D structural steel model of the production stage. Every column, beam, stiffener plate, and bolted/welded connection was meticulously detailed to ensure strict alignment with international steel construction codes and local project guidelines.
The Outcome
Provided a comprehensive, CNC-ready structural package, complete with automated bills of materials and flawless shop drawings. The high-accuracy detailing cut down fabricator inquiries to zero and accelerated the steel assembly phase.
